In Marokko leben schätzungsweise hunderttausende streunende Hunde. Was auf den ersten Blick wie ein lokales Tierschutzproblem wirkt, hat tiefgreifende Folgen – für die Tiere selbst, für die Gemeinschaft und für die öffentliche Gesundheit.

Unkontrolliertes VermehrenEin unkastriertes Hündinnenpaar und seine Nachkommen können theoretisch innerhalb von sieben Jahren über 4.000 Tiere hervorbringen. Ohne Eingriff wächst die Population exponentiell – und damit jedes damit verbundene Leid.

TNVR – Jedes Leben hat einen Wert.TNVR ist die einzige Methode, die diesem Grundsatz gerecht wird: Sie schützt die Gemeinschaft, stabilisiert die Population nachhaltig – und respektiert dabei jedes einzelne Tier.
TNVR verändert nicht nur Zahlen – es verändert das Leben der Tiere, die Sicherheit der Menschen und das Gleichgewicht ganzer Stadtteile. Hier sehen, was jeder Eingriff konkret bewirkt.
Kastrierte Hunde behalten ihr Revier – und blockieren es für Neuankömmlinge. Keine fremden, ungeimpften Tiere rücken nach. Die Population schrumpft, anstatt sich zu ersetzen.
Kastrierte Hunde zeigen deutlich weniger Territorialaggression und Revierkampf-Verhalten. Weniger Stress, weniger Verletzungen – und ein entspannteres Miteinander mit Menschen.
Ab einer Impfquote von ca. 70 % bricht die Übertragungskette von Tollwut zusammen. Geimpfte Hunde schützen nicht nur sich – sie schützen die gesamte Gemeinschaft, einschließlich Menschen.
Gesunde, ruhige Hunde mit Ohrmarke werden sichtbar als Teil der Gemeinschaft. Die Ohrmarke signalisiert: dieser Hund ist versorgt, bekannt, ungefährlich. Das verändert, wie Menschen sie wahrnehmen.

Uncontrolled breedingOne unsterilised female dog and her offspring can theoretically produce over 4,000 animals within seven years. Without intervention, populations grow exponentially – and every form of suffering that comes with them grows too.

TNVR doesn’t just change numbers – it changes the lives of animals, the safety of communities and the balance of entire neighbourhoods. Here’s what each intervention concretely achieves.
Sterilised dogs hold their territory – and block it for newcomers. No unknown, unvaccinated animals move in. The population shrinks instead of replacing itself.
Sterilised dogs show significantly less territorial aggression and fighting behaviour. Less stress, fewer injuries – and a more relaxed coexistence with people.
Once vaccination coverage reaches around 70%, the rabies transmission chain breaks down. Vaccinated dogs protect not only themselves – they protect the entire community, including people.
Healthy, calm dogs with ear tags become visibly part of the community. The ear tag signals: this animal is cared for, known, safe. That changes how people perceive them.
